Chapman University’s Institute for the Study of Religion, Economics and Society (IRES) within the Argyros School of Business and Economics invites applications for a postdoctoral fellowship in the economics of religion, beginning August 2020.

We are seeking candidates whose research interests/projects will be enhanced through the work of the IRES. A Ph.D. completed between August 1, 2018 and August 1, 2020 as well as a research agenda that aligns with the mission of IRES are required.
We aim to support highly promising young scholars doing research that links the study of religion to economics, political science, or sociology. Candidates selected will conduct research in at least one of these fields while at Chapman. They will also be expected to attend seminars, give at least one talk on their research, and assist with other IRES activities.
