Responsibilities:

Coordinate the testing and note taking services offered by the Disability Services department. This includes scheduling exams, managing testing room space, monitoring test takers, keeping accurate records/statistical data, ensuring test security and integrity, and complying with faculty instructions and approved ADA accommodations. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Required: Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Education, Spec. Ed, or Related Field. Three years of professional support experience, with a minimum of one year related experience. Demonstrated computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Google docs and Adobe forms. Strong time management skills, with demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks and perform in a timely and efficient manner. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact diplomatically with a diverse group of individuals at all organizational levels. Writing skills to prepare clear, concise & grammatically correct correspondence. Professional demeanor and the ability to work with other departments while maintaining a high level of confidentiality. An ethical commitment to the confidentiality of sensitive documents Ability and diplomacy skills to consult with students and faculty regarding educational and security issues associated with testing. A working current knowledge of ADA/504 and 508 applicable federal and state laws. Attention to detail. Technical skills to learn and use enterprise systems required for this position. Sensitivity of working with students from diverse backgrounds and academic standing.

Desired: Professional experience at a higher education institution in working with individuals with disabilities including facilitating accommodations and experience working with assistive technology.
